The challenge

Students and technicians need a safe environment where they can observe how variable frequency affects motor speed, take electrical measurements, and evaluate control behavior without interrupting production equipment.

Our response

KNA developed an integrated training and measurement panel centered on a variable frequency drive. Protected terminals, switching devices, relay controls, indicators, and electrical meters support guided wiring, operation, measurement, and troubleshooting exercises.

Technical configuration

  1. 01input supply - three-phase, five-wire AC 380 V +/-10% at 50/60 Hz
  2. 02output supply - AC 380 V through shrouded safety terminals
  3. 03rated capacity - less than 1 kVA
  4. 04integrated training devices - VFD, switching, relay contacts, indicator lamps, and voltage/current meters
  5. 05safety provisions - branch protection, emergency stop, and protected connection points

Results Achieved

The system gives instructors one platform for practical VFD training while helping learners understand frequency-based speed regulation, control sequencing, measurement, and safe industrial-drive operation.
