The challenge

Homes and road infrastructure need dependable electricity and lighting in locations where grid supply is limited, unstable, or costly to extend, while keeping operation and maintenance practical.

Our response

KNA configures modular solar systems around the available sunlight, required loads, installation location, and target backup time. Residential systems support essential household loads, while road systems prioritize efficient LED lighting, automatic operation, and weather-resistant equipment.

Typical configuration

  1. 01monocrystalline PV modules - 100 to 550 Wp per panel
  2. 02system voltage - 12, 24, or 48 V DC
  3. 03charge controller - PWM or MPPT sized to the array and battery
  4. 04energy storage - LiFePO4 or deep-cycle battery sized to load and autonomy
  5. 05home inverter - pure sine wave, typically 500 W to 5 kW
  6. 06home loads - lighting, communication equipment, fans, and small appliances
  7. 07home protection - DC breaker, fuse, surge protection, and isolator
  8. 08road luminaire - energy-efficient LED, typically 30 to 150 W
  9. 09road control - automatic dusk-to-dawn operation with optional motion sensing
  10. 10backup autonomy - typically 1 to 3 nights depending on load and design
  11. 11outdoor enclosure - IP65 or higher for controller and battery protection
  12. 12mounting - corrosion-resistant rooftop, pole, or ground frame
  13. 13cabling - UV-resistant solar cable with compatible connectors
